The Studio was shortlisted in the ‘Best non-public Project – Residential’ category in the 2019 Blueprint Awards.
We were particularly delighted by this shortlist as these international awards were judged by an independent panel. This included renowned architects Nicholas Grimshaw, Ben van Berkel, and Daniel Libeskind. The Awards celebrate the very best of contemporary architecture and design around the world.
Built in conjunction with Carpenter Oak and WB Design & Build, this beautiful, timber-framed and timber-clad contemporary building is a private Pilates studio and Pool House that was designed to contrast with the neighbouring Georgian Old Rectory whilst remaining sympathetic to its rural setting.
Richmond Bell's James and Matthew went up to London for the awards ceremony at Fabric, Clerkenwell and were proud to be shortlisted alongside some amazing projects from around the world.
