This month, Richmond Bell have received planning permission for works to two listed building projects in Wiltshire.
The first project involves the creation of a swimming pool and pool house in the curtilage of a listed manor house near Shrewton. As part of the application, the driveway will also be rerouted back to its original position away from the front of the house.
The second listed building consent was granted for a listed building in Tisbury. A barn outbuilding will be converted into ancillary accommodation containing a ground floor bedroom with ensuite, and a hallway, additional bathroom and utility room. A contemporary glass link joins the conversion to the main house, and will be used as a dining area. This link retains the original cobbled courtyard to the rear of the building. The plans also include minor internal renovations to the rest of the house.
Richmond Bell are now embarking on the next stages of the project and producing the technical drawings that the contractors will need to build the barn conversion.
